Manchester United Vs Burnley 29 January Preview

Manchester United will be looking to make it nine out of nine under interim manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when they face Burnley. A dispirited Burnley who lost 5-0 to Manchester City – blue half of Manchester – will be willing to cause an upset against the other its red half.

Manchester United

Nobody will have thought to see the Red devils in this form that they have found themselves at the moment, at least not when most people thought that the team left behind by Jose Mourinho was irreparable.

Solskjaer will be licking his lips at the thought of smashing Burnley and making a case for permanent manager come next season.

The players are having the best time of their lives since the start of the post-Ferguson era and are the favorites to claim a win over Sean Dyche’s side in front of their home fans.

Burnley

Burnley have been pretty much impressive in recent weeks – save for the 5-0 mauling at the hands of the Citizens in their FA counter. However, a case could be made for them in their encounter against City after Sean Dyche made several changes to his starting XI.

Wins against West Ham United, Huddersfield Town, Fulham and a draw against Watford has seen the team respond well after a terrible run that saw them claim only one victory for their matches played between October 6 and December 26.

That said, coming off this one with a win was always going to be a tall order. However, Burnley will be willing to cause bookmakers lots of headaches by claiming a win at Old Trafford.
