Manhandling And Abduction of Sowore In Full View of Judge Shows That Nigeria Is A Failed State – Nnamdi Kanu
Leader of proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPoB), Nnamdi Kanu has said the manhandling of Omoyele Sowore, human rights activist has shown that Nigeria is a failed state.
This is a reaction to the skirmish that occurred in the court between Sowore and the DSS officials who attempted to arrest him in the court.
The secret police eventually arrested him at the gate of the court alongside his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare.

Also reacting, human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju said what is being practiced in Nigeria is not a democracy but a military dictatorship.

“This is not a democracy. This cannot be a democracy. How do you explain a situation where a president is supervising unconstitutional means to house the judiciary of a court in a constitutional democracy. It is unacceptable, and this is an aberration to anything called democracy.
“What has happened today in court is a direct assault on constitutional democracy, and it must be resisted by every sane Nigerian. We are no longer operating a democracy; what we have in Nigeria is a military dictatorship
