With the current situation in Nigeria, especially in terms of the high rate of crimes and killings in every corner of the country, it has gotten to a stage that no one is considered safe.

The crime which has gone high presently is kidnapping which has seen the high and low being kidnapped with huge amount of money paid as ransom to regain their freedom while many lose their lives in the process.

However, the Nigerian security agencies are doing their best to curtail these crimes as some arrest have been made of late.

The Nigerian Police for one have intensified on the Operation Puff Adder which have yielded some result to some extent.

Nigerian Senator, Dino Melaye in a latest statement has advised the country’s leaders to beware of violent revolution, he added that perilous times are coming.

He stressed that he is afraid the revenge of the poor like what happened in Russia, France and recently Sudan can happen in Nigeria.

Sen. Dino Melaye pointed out that the housing segregation put the Nigerian elite in jeopardy.

Melaye in his statement via his Twitter handle said, “I am afraid of the revenge of the poor, It happened in Russia, France and recently in Sudan. It can happen in Nigeria. Housing segregation put us the elite in jeopardy. Ikoyi, Banana, Maitama, Asokoro etc. Our leaders + I beware of violent revolution. Perilous times loading. SDM”

In another news, Senator Dino Melaye will be returning to the Senate for a second term having won the Kogi West Senatorial seat in the 2019 General Elections.
