Mompha ‘Disappears’ From Instagram After His Alleged Accomplices Were Arrested By EFCC
The Instagram page of embattled Dubai-based Nigerian ‘Big Boy’, Mompha has been deactivated days after he was arrested by EFCC over his alleged involvement in internet fraud.
This is coming after his alleged accomplices were arrested including a Lebanese, Hamza Koudeih who was arrested in his N1.8bn Lagos home.
Mompha was arrested in Abuja by EFCC on his way to Dubai. It was said that Interpol alerted EFCC after they tracked the suspect through his ticket.
An update on his arrest also revealed that 51 bank accounts he allegedly uses for money laundering has been uncovered. The five wristwatches recovered from him after his arrest has been found to be worth over N60 million rather than the N20 million earlier thought.
