Group C has some heavyweight clashes this week with Napoli and Paris Saint German clashing for the second time in 2 weeks. The first leg of the encounter was action packed and saw four goals produced on the night, two apiece from each team.

With Liverpool, PSG, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade all still having the chance to mathematically qualify, the last three round of matches will be very difficult.

Napoli will feel they blew their chances of a win last term after going ahead on two occasions with PSG having to eqaulize on both accounts. They will now be looking  to dispatch PSG, and double their chances of qualifying for the next round, having already defeated Liverpool at home.

PSG know they have a must-win game, after getting thrashed by Liverpool on opening day and requiring a last-gap equalizer in the match against Napoli. With their current league start the highest in Europe – 12 game winning streak, they will want to translate that to the Champions league.

Amin Younes and Vlad Chiriches are injured and will be left out of the the matchday squad of the Italians. Lorenzo Insigne and in-form Dries Mertens are said to start up front.

Possible Napoli starting eleven:

Ospina; Maksimovic, Albiol, Koulibaly, Mario Rui; Callejon, Allan, Hamsik, Ruiz; Mertens, Insigne.

For PSG Dani Alves and Layvin Murzawa are not back from injury. Julian Draxler will start ahead of Rabiot while PSG is set to welcome Gigi Buffon back from suspension from the champion’s league last season.

Possible PSG starting eleven:

Buffon; Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Kehrer; Meunier, Verratti, Draxler, Di Maria; Mbappe, Cavani, Neymar.

Head To Head

Paris Saint German have the better head to head statistic. The two sides have met three times in Uefa competitions, with Napoli yet to beat PSG. The French giants have won once, with two draws between the teams – the most recent coming in Paris in matchday 3 this year.
