Neymar Denies Rape Allegations Levelled Against Him | Presents Facts

Neymar has vehemently denied rape allegations leveled against him by an unnamed woman but insists he is only a victim of an extortion attempt.

The Brazilian’s father said that the WhatsApp messages shared between his son and the alleged victim will be shared in an attempt to dismiss all allegations.

Emerging reports claim that Neymar had paid for the alleged victim’s air fare and met her at Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe but contests the serious claims made by the unnamed lady.

Neymar shared chats he made with the alleged victim with the messages revealing that the pair began speaking in March and then continued on May 15.

The messages allege that she invited the 27 year old back to the hotel on the 16th of May.

According to reports, the alleged victim returned to Sao Paulo on the 17th of May before taking her case to a police station that specialises in women’s defence on May 31.

“What happened that day was a relationship between a man and a woman, within four walls,” the former Barcelona man claimed.

“Something happens with every couple, and the next day nothing happened.

“We kept chatting, she asked me for a souvenir for her son, and I was going to take it, and well… now I am surprised by these claims.

“It’s very bad, very sad. This not only hurts me, but like my whole family, because not only denigrating my image is bad, but what I am, who I am, the nature I have, the character I have.”

An official statement released by the Brazilian’s PR team alleges that Neymar was a victim of an extortion attempt before the allegations came to light.

It was alleged that the winger was an extortion victim only few days before then, practiced by a lawyer who is alleged to represent the alleged rape victim’s interest.

Neymar is currently in Brazil with his national squad in preparation for the upcoming Copa America to be played in June and July.
