Neymar Turns 27 | Wishes For New Metatarsal

The flambouyant and exotic Neymar celebrates his 27th birthday in style despite terrible injury to his metatarsal which could see him miss PSG’s Champions League match against Manchester United.

The PSG winger and most expensive player celebrated his birthday with his crutches alongside Kylian Mbappe and Dani Alves in an all-red theme for his special day according to a report.

Neymar is reportedly ruled out for 10 weeks and will miss both legs against Manchester United. This did not stall the celebrations in any way as the Brazilian International posed for pictures dressed in red and holding on to his crutches.

This is what he had to tell his guests in attendance:

“What I wanted the most as a birthday present today is a new metatarsal so I could be on the field fighting and doing what I love the most, which is playing soccer”,

“It’s been very hard to be on crutches all this time. Every athlete knows how hard it is. They [his team-mates] are giving me all the strength possible to help me return as soon as possible.”

The attendees include National team-mates David Luiz and Douglas Costa; club teammates in Edison Cavani, Leandro Paredes, Marquinho among others.

Neymar made a big money move to Ligue 1 leaders, Paris Saint Germain in the region of about 220 million pounds in the summer of 2017.

This came after the Brazilian expressed his frustration at playing under the shadows of club teammate and five time Balon D’Or winner, Lionel Messi.

Neymar almost single-handedly inspired a comeback against his new team after losing out to them 4-0 in the first leg of the encounter.

The Brazilian known for his charming looks and his fame amongst women has a massive social presence with a total of 110 million followers.

The superstar last month joined on the #10yearschallenge train with fans jeering at the difference in his looks.

A Happy Birthday to a great dribbler and footballer. 27 looks good on you
