1. Buhari’s 2019 Budget Title Highly Disturbing- Abubakar

The National Publicity Secretary of the Grassroots Development Party of Nigeria, GDPN Barrister Yelwa Abubakar has declared President Buhari’s body language towards the 2019 general elections ‘highly disturbing’.

She expressed concern over the presentation of the 2019 national budget to the National Assembly which President Buhari titled: “Budget of Continuity”.

3. I Love All My Sons and Baby Mamas- Wizkid

Wizkid has finally broken silence on his relationship with his sons and baby mamas.

During his performance on Sunday at his ‘Made in Lagos’ Concert, a fan presented him with a painting of himself and Zion, Wizkid said the painting should be redone to include his other sons: Boluwatife and Ayo.

He then added that he loved all his sons, Boluwatife, Ayo and Zion equally, and that they meant the world to him.

He also declared that he loved all his baby mamas.

4. Gunmen Kidnap 2 Catholic Priests in Anambra

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped two Catholic priests at Nneyi Umeri area of Anambra.

The clergymen were abducted while on their way back from Onitsha on Monday evening.
Anonymous sources said the kidnapped priests were serving in St. Teresa’s Catholic Church, Umueze Anam, and were kidnapped at Nneyi village at about 7.30 pm on Monday.

5. 14 Soldiers Killed On Christmas Eve

The Nigerian Army said on Tuesday that 13 of their soldiers including a Policeman were killed in a fierce gunfight with Boko Haram terrorists along the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway on Christmas eve.

According to the Army, the Boko Haram terrorists laid an ambush on the troops but they fought their way through, killing many of the terrorists.

The Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Acehebe, has on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘Golibe festival’. He described it as a cultural innovation designed to reinvigorate and reposition the Onitsha culture and economy.

In his words, “Golibe is instituted to re-engineer Onitsha into a vibrant 21st century city and globally acclaimed destination for commerce and cultural tourism”.

10. The Igbo are to Nigeria What Israel is to the World – Ohanaeze

Ohanaeze Ndigbo  has said that Nigeria will continue to wallow in  abject socio-political, economic and developmental blindness until an Igbo man becomes the president and that the Igbos are to Nigeria what Israel is to the world today.

The spokesman for the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Uche Achi-Okpaga, said this while reacting to a statement by VP, Osinbajo that the South-West would produce the President in 2023 after President Buhari had said he didn’t expect Prof. Osinbajo to say a different thing.
