Nigeria Will Resurrect Just As Jesus Resurrected

The Special Adviser to the President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, believes that Nigeria would overcome all of its challenges, the same way that Jesus Christ overcame death at the point of resurrection.

Mr Adesina made this known at a Easter Concert that held at the Apostolic Faith West Africa Church National Headquarters on Sunday, in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Concert which was tagged: “Christ the King” was held at the in celebration of the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for all men.

According to the Advisor, “the message of Easter is the message of victory over darkness, victory over death and the lesson we can learn is that whatever the problems that besiege this country.

“Whether killings, economic, political or social problems can be overcome; just as Jesus overcame death, we shall also overcome our troubles; Nigeria will resurrect just as Jesus resurrected.

“We will overcome all the problems facing the country; it’s a time for us to be encouraged, resonate and determined that God still rules in the affairs of men, and Nigeria.”

Mr Adesina was also asked about the efforts of the Federal Government in securing the liberation of Leah Sharibu, who has been kidnapped by Boko Haram insurgents for several months now.

The advisor said that the Federal Government was doing all it can to get her out of the captives of the insurgents as soon as Possible. He further pleased with all Nigerians to keep faith in the Buhari’s led administration.

“We believe that Leah will come back one day, a lot is being done, and you know you cannot begin to proclaim sensitive things like that on the pages of the newspaper.’’

He also mentioned that the Next Level agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is set to focus on building up enterprises in the county.

“Security, reviving the economy, creating jobs and fighting corruption; Next Level is a consolidation of all these things. We will focus more on infrastructure, economy, small and medium scale enterprises.

“There is going to be what we call money bank and enterprise bank and there is going to be inclusive government,’’ he mentioned.
