Some Nigerians have mocked the show over the low quality compared to BBNaija. They also mocked the cameras, Big Brother’s voice, the furnitures and the apartment which some Twitter users compared to an Isolation center and self-contained apartment.
”While Nigerians organized Big Brother 9ja, our neighbors from Cameroon also started their own 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Big Brother Cameroon. They should have started as “Small Brother” because is this place a self con or what?” a Twitter user wrote.

See Cameroonians comparing a show of 13 years ago (2007) with their current show in 2020. If Nigeria were to start theirs today it will definitely be better than this show you're putting on. So relax and let them drag it so it becomes more popular. #Biggy237
