Nigerians React To Pastor Adeboye’s Revelation That He Once Told His Son to Sack a Female Secretary Who Excites Him
Nigerians have reacted to a thread on Twitter by Pastor EA Adeboye after revealing he once asked his married son to fire his secretary because he had a crush on her.
The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) made a post about marriage and pointed out that it’s wrong to have crushes or intimate relationship with people other than your spouses.
He added that when his son was once in that kind of situation with his female secretary and he asked him to fire her.
He wrote;
“CRUSH THAT CRUSH !!!
“Today, I will be focusing on the married. It is sad that many married people are still having crushes with persons apart from their spouses.
“If there is any fellow aside from your spouse you are admiring unduly, you must see such a person as the devil and get rid of them immediately.
“One of my sons once told me that he was always excited to resume in the office every Monday because he would get to see his secretary again. I told him to fire her immediately. Nothing and no one is worth your marriage.”

Oh, you may say “I am not doing anything with the fellow; we are just friend.” That is exactly where it starts from. The devil knows you are a Christian and would not fall for someone just like that.

Proverbs 5:18 has this to say:
“Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.”

They no longer communicate as they used to. When they talk, it is only on serious issues about the children or other family needs, instead of talking/gisting about just anything as they used to in the early days of their marriage.

No one should be closer to you or know more about you than your spouse.

Let's flip the script, Let 's assume that the person Pastor Adeboye's son is attracted to is the boss.
Would the advice be to resign? Or does it just concern people that work for you?

But well, we can’t say if he helped her secure another job after but I’m just speaking based on what I read in Pastor Adeboye’s tweet.

My sister if you chase away your help cos you feel she might tempt your hubby then you have no right to blast Pastor Adeboye. Like the only crime your help commited is developing breast and growing into a beautiful woman. Everyone is woke on social media ,hypocrites..

I don't blame Pastor Adeboye for that stupid tweet.
Ur spiritual leaders are also disconnected from reality
That's why In a period of mass youth unemployment
Baba thought he could post that rubbish.
I mean when church funds your lifestyle., Why should you care about a youth?

Pastor Adeboye asked his son to fire his secretary because he couldn't control the ecstasy of working around her.
An innocent woman lost her job for nothing and people are replying, "More grace to Daddy."I don't understand, grace to fire more innocent people??

Why are y’all just looking for reasons to be angry this morning?
Pastor Adeboye has said absolutely nothing wrong in that thread but y’all are picking on the “fire secretary” to wail and cry.
Y’all would be fine.
