‘Nigeria’s Government Draining Its Own Brain’ – Ben Murray-Bruce
Mixed reactions have continued to trial the statement of Minister of Labour, Senator Chris Ngige, that medical doctors could leave Nigeria if they so desire.
Reacting to the statement Senator Ben Murray-Bruce said he won’t be surprised the minister’s statement leads to brain drain in the country.
He also said that based on the minister’s statement foreign recruitment agencies may descend heavily on Nigeria to recruit out doctors, that the minister said Nigeria has too many of and send them to their own nations.
Senator Bruce also expressed shock at the speech saying he has never heard of a government draining its own brains.
