Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has spoken on what transpired at his residence when Police reportedly ambush the resident in Anambra and burnt down houses and shops around the area.
While noting that he was not around during the incident, he said the alleged attack was led by an Area Commander who requested to see him but was not around.
This was stated in a video uploaded on the facebook page of Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister.
“To address the false narrative being peddled by the Police in Anambra State on the incident of yesterday, it has become compelling to narrate to the world about what transpired at my house yesterday.
“On Sunday December 1, I was called about 9pm by the DPO… He never passed any message to me.
“Then in the morning, I got a call from my elder brother, Emeka Ejiofor that Police have invaded my premises by the Area Commander himself. I requested to speak with the Area Commander, the request was obliged by him and which conversation was prerecorded. I inquired to know why they are in my house because I wasn’t around. The Police said they have come to arrest some of my ….. They ask if I coiuld see them and I said I will be back around 10:30 am.
