‘NYSC Skirt Agitation Is Madness’ – Daddy Freeze Reacts
Controversial OAP, Daddy Freeze has reacted to the protest by an advocacy group, Serve With Skirts Movement against the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), demanding the inclusion of skirts in the youth initiative’s dress code.
On the 16th of January, 2020, the leader of the group, Udochi Emmannuel and its members protested across the streets of Abuja demanding that female corpers be allowed to wear skirt for the NYSC scheme instead of trousers.
Some of their placards quoted Bible verses as they portrayed female corpers who wear trousers as ‘children of the world’ and those who prefer to wear trousers as ‘children of God.’
Many have reacted to the protest including Daddy Freeze. In reaction, he said; “Is this not madness?”
“Even the disciples had abandoned these old covenant Jewish laws as far back as 2000 years ago, so why glamorize your ignorance by resurrecting them now?”
