Outcome of APC caucus meeting: Adams Oshiomohle accuses INEC of colluding with the PDP

The All Progressive Congress APC had their caucus meeting today where they discussed the postponed 2019 General election.

Present at the meeting were the National chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole, President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice Pres. Yemi Osinbanjo among others.

The APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole in his statement accused the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC of colluding with the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP to postponed the election.

Adams Oshiomohle insisted that the PDP was pre-informed before the postponement of the General Election.

He claimed that the Electoral body informed the PDP not to spend its money, following it planned postponement

The APC national chairman in his statement disclosed that the party had spent much in preparing for the election as he demanded that the electoral body must apologize to Nigerians especially APC voters, who travel long distances with the hope of exercising their franchise.

He also disclosed that the APC would write to INEC to ensure that the rescheduled election is credible, free and fair.

Oshiomhole said, “We want INEC to assure us that the elections would be free, fair and credible.

“They need to speak to us about the reconfiguration of card readers”.

The APC presidential candidate President Muhammadu Buhari also reacted to the postponed as he disclosed that he has directed security agencies to ensure they secure the whole environment and make sure the election went smoothly.

“I will warn those who has planned to disrupt the peaceful elections to desist from their planned actions. Anyone who tries that is doing it at the expense of his own life” President Buhari added.
