Pastor Douglas Johnson Accuses Renowned Politician of Destroying a Church in Owerri (Photos)

A pastor in Imo state, Douglas Johnson accused a renowned politician in Owerri of destroying a church.

— The politician with the name Chief Okey Ikoro allegedly directed 20 thugs to burn down the church.

Douglas Johnson cried out on Instagram to accuse Chief Okey Ikoro, a renowned politician of ruining and destroying Owerri Gospel Hub of Rhythm 5 Int’l Church.

The politician allegedly sent thugs to burn down the church and beat up the people guarding the place.

This happened on the 28th of April, around 1am.

“PLEASE READ TILL THE END!!!! …And so this renowned politician “Chief Okey Ikoro” invaded one of the largest churches in the city of Owerri (Owerri Gospel Hub of Rhythm 5 Int’l) located at plot 455 nkwere street, works layout Owerri, Nigeria, that is dominated by youth and students with over 20 thugs carrying guns and cutlasses on a faithful Sunday morning at about 1:15 am.. Burnt a 1000 capacity tent and hundreds of chairs to ashes, destroyed all the church sound equipments and many other church properties.

“These thugs beat up all the young men that slept over to watch that night with those dreaded weapons to almost the point of death. 

“This happened on 28th April, 2019 after which he had destroyed another 1000 capacity tent that belonged to the same church on 18th March, 2019 at about the same time.

“Please good people tell me what should we call this? I advocate this man be brought to book. 
Please let’s join hands together to do what’s right!!!”
