The Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr. Peter Obi in a statement while embarking on a road show in Akwa disclosed that the PDP would bring happiness back to the faces of Nigerians if elected.

He declared that the PDP will restore the economic prosperity of the country if elected to rule at the Federal level come February 16.

Peter Obi in his statement said, ”PDP is coming back to restore happiness and lessen the sufferings of the people.”

He alleged that the economy of the nation has suffered set back under the All Progressive Congress APC led administration.

The former Governor claimed that Nigeria is home to the highest number of poor people in the world today.

He said, “Nigeria has the highest number of poor people in the world today where about 90 millions are poor that is half of the population.”

Peter Obi further claimed that nobody is happy with the current situation in the country, he, however, declared that any one who is happy with the current situation in the country is not normal.

He said, “About 21 million youths are unemployed, nobody is happy with the situation in the country today and any person that is happy with the situation is not a normal human being.”

Peter Obi also called on the electorates to vote out the APC in the forthcoming presidential election.

In another news, Nigerians have been advised to go and pick up their Permanent Voters Card PVC before the deadline stipulated by INEC for collection sets in and also move out to vote for their respective candidates.
