“Pogba Out” – Words Written On Sign Post Outside ManUtd Ground

Paul Pogba has been the main subject of recent racist abuse since he suggested it could be time to look elsewhere for a new challenge.

A sign just outside Manchester United’s training complex at Carrington road appears to have been spray painted with the words “Pogba out” amid speculation over the French midfielder’s future.

The World Cup winner has endured a tough time since his return to Old Trafford from Juventus in 2016 and was roasted on social media for losing a penalty in United’s encounter with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Having being linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu all summer with Zinedine Zidane keenly interested in the 26 year old, Pogba’s future still remains uncertain.

An image has now made the rounds on social media where a sign post was spray painted in red with the words “Pogba out”

This came at a time when Manchester United have struggled in the top-flight moving out a number of senior attacking players and failing to close in on League leaders, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, Man United have struggled on all fronts and some sections of fans have identified Pogba as a scape goat since he indicated his interest in leaving Old Trafford.

Featuring in the Europa League this term, the Red devils under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are desperate to get back into the top four and probably challenge for the league title.

However, having managed to come off the game against Wolves with only one point and losing to Crystal Palace, United are already five points behind League leaders Liverpool after only three games.

With Pogba arguably being the biggest player on the team’s roster, his performance frequently comes under scrutiny whenever the Red devils fail to produce good results.

The French midfielder was targeted with vile racist abuse on social media following the incident, while Rashford suffered similar treatment after hitting the post as the Red Devils missed another penalty against Palace.

Solskjaer thereafter made the move to back his player stating that while the abuse made Pogba stronger, they surely had to stop.
