– The two people reportedly died as a result of overcrowding

The All Progressive Congress APC took it Presidential Campaign to Taraba state today with Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in attendance.

According to the report, the people of Taraba came out in their numbers to attend the APC presidential campaign rally in the state.

However, during the course of the campaign, a sad event took place that saw two people lose their lives.

A report made it known that the two people lost their lives as a result of the overcrowding.

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in a statement via his spoke person, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to the sad event.

The President in his statement expressed his sadness over the death of the two people, who passed away at his Presidential campaign rally in Taraba state.

Bashir Ahmad wrote on his Twitter account, “President Muhammadu Buhari expresses sadness over the death of two persons as a result of overcrowding at his presidential campaign today in Jalingo, Taraba State.”

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari added that he always felt sad and distressed when ordinary Nigerians lose their lives because of the love they have for him and the APC.

Bashir Ahmad wrote, “I always feel very sad and distressed when ordinary Nigerians who love me and our party because of what we stand for and have done, make personal sacrifices by taking the pains to show their support, end their lives tragically”. – Pres. Bihari on Taraba Tragedy.

In another news, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari is expected to be in Lagos State on Saturday as Lagosians have been urged to plan their movement as some routes will be closed.
