Pres. Muhammadu Buhari sends heartfelt message to families of youngsters killed in Gombe

– Pres. Muhammadu Buhari has sent a heartfelt message to the families of slain boys and girls brigade in Gombe

According to a recent report, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the slain Boys and Girls Brigade in Gombe state, who were buried today.

Pres. Buhari in his statement sent a heartfelt message to the families and friends of the deceased.

According to the reports, a total of nine lost their lives following a dispute between members of the Brigade and a security operative while on a procession during the  Easter Celebration.

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari in a statement through his Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity, Garba Shehu on Saturday, made it known that his heart is filled with pain because the families and friends had to face the pain of burying their promising youngsters.

The Pres. in his statement assured the Families of the deceased that the entire nation is in mourning.

Pres. Muhammadu Buhari said, “My heart is filled with the pain that the families of the victims were facing as they buried these promising youngsters. The entire nation is with you as experience this sad, indescribable loss. May the Almighty God comfort you at this difficult time.”

The President in the report also revealed his surprise over reports of tensions which led the state government to impose a curfew.

He, owever, gave directives to security agencies in the state to make sure that vigilance is maintained.

In another report, Pres. Muhammadu Buhari is currently out of the country and he is on a private visit in the United Kingdom and he is not scheduled to return to the country until May 5th.

Also, the Senate has summoned the IGP, Mohammed Adamu on the high rate of killings in the Northern part of the country.
