Rapper Olamide Signs a Joint Venture Deal With American Music Company, Empire Distribution

Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji and CEO of record label, YBNL has signed a joint venture deal with Empire Distribution, a record and publishing company in the United States.


The popular rapper who founded his record label in 2012 announced this new deal on Wednesday, 19th of February via his social media pages.


He thanked his fans and supporters for holding up for so long and promised that he, Fireboy and any other artiste he signs next would make the most out of the partnership deal. He also stated his fans should expect another album from himself and 

“Big thanks to the fans for holding on for so long and believing. Switching it up and fvcking the world up is the motive. So make nobody fear when globe start,” 

“Happy to announce that YBNL and Empire got a joint venture deal. Myself and Fireboy with any other act I sign next ready to shake the world,” he wrote.

In the same way, Empire released a statement via its Twitter page that, “Nigeria going global. Excited to continue this journey with you and the YBNL family.”

This partnership deal is coming after Olamide released his nine-tracked album, “999” on the 9th Of February.
