Rashford Pens Down New Contract To 2023 With Huge Weekly Package

Marcus Rashford has penned a new deal that will commit him to the club till 2023 with the option of a further year and see him pocket a huge £200,000-a-week wage.

The English man joined the Red devils as a seven year old and has since risen through the ranks, making his senior debut in February 2016, aged 18 and cementing a place in the Starting XI under the stead of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

“This club has shaped me, both as a player and as a person,” the 21 year old said.

“So it is such a privilege every time I get the opportunity to wear the shirt.”

“Manchester United has been everything in my life since I arrived here at the age of seven.

“I will be giving everything I have to help get this club back to where it belongs and deliver the success that our fans deserve.”

Rashford has made a total of 170 appearances in a United jersey and earned himself 32 caps for his national side, England.

Manchester United gaffer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was appointed on a permanent basis this year stated that the young lad was one of the most talented English players of his generation.

“He is an outstanding player; blessed with natural pace and energy,” said the Norwegian gaffer.

Rashford is the third piece of major business done by the Red devils this summer.

With a long list of players rumoured to be linked with a move to Old Trafford, one would expect two or more players to be signed alongside Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan Bissaka from Crystal Palace.

The pair of Wissam Ben Yedder and Bruno Fernandes are reportedly top targets for Manchester United but the red devils will also be aiming to add a top rated centre back to their ranks in a so far busy transfer window.
