Rashford Sets Premier League And Champions League Targets For United

Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford has set a target for his club side, with the Englishman gunning for both Champions League and Premier League titles.

The United graduate ow determined to land the biggest titles at Old Trafford after finding his ideal position on the pitch of play.

The ambitious 22-year-old is determined to bring back both titles to the red half of Manchester.

United were once real contenders for both trophies under the rein of Sir Alex Ferguson, when the club experienced unprecedented success.

The legendary manager helped the Red devils to 13 league titles, conquered Europe on two separate occasions and delivered an incredible haul of domestic titles which include the FA Cup, Carling Cup and Community shield.

Marcus Rashford believes that progress is being made under the stead of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and that the club would soon be real contenders for major honours, both domestic and European titles.

The Englishman divulged his plans to BT Sport, where he said:

“I definitely want to win the Champions League and Premier League with United.

“When I was growing up you saw them winning these things, it became normal.

“We are in a good position now because I can see where the team is heading and we are going in the right direction. We just have to be patient and keep improving.”

Rashford is expected to lead the charge for United even as they challenge for top honours, having established himself as a senior players for club and country.

He’s polished his game in the final third and has already broken his personal best goal tally with a heavy haul of 16 goals so far. The forward seems to have found a perfect place in the team this term.

“The position I’m playing now, this is my favoured position,” said the English forward, who has operated up top and on the flanks for club and country.

“It’s not really left wing, but it’s not No.9. When you are a No.9 you have to be prepared to not see the ball, it’s tough.”
