Rayo Vallecano Vs Real Madrid LaLiga 28 April Preview

Real Madrid will make a trip to Laliga basement club, Rayo Vallecano where it is expected they come off that encounter with all three points and possibly close up the gap between themselves and second-placed Atletico Madrid.

Rayo Vallecano

It has been a tough Laliga season for Rayo Vallecano with the side managing only seven wins all season long.

Indeed, seven wins, seven draws and 20 defeats is how they have performed so far. They are seven points behind 17th placed Real Valladolid and have a tough task to finish with a plomb if any hopes of remaining in the top flight still lingers.

No team has lost more games in the Liga this term and only Huesca has overseen lesser wins than this Rayo side.

That said, the fact that Real Madrid little or nothing to play for this weekend should be a little advantage for them but claiming a win against the Los Blancos was always going to be a tall order for them.

Real Madrid

Madrid are now six points off second-placed Atletico Madrid following a goalless draw with Getafe last time out.

Barcelona will be aiming to be crowned LaLiga champions this weekend with a mammoth 15 points over Real Madrid.

Real have won 20 of their 24 matches, lost nine and look in the best of shape to take on this Rayo side.

They haven’t done so badly in their recent games – losing two and winning two – from their last four games.

Real Madrid are clearly favourites coming into this encounter and will be looking to justify that tag.
