Sanwo-Olu – Regional cooperation on development and security among Governors in the South-West will be to the benefit of all

– Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu said that the regional cooperation on development and security among Governors in the South-West will be a benefit to all 
– This comes after the South West Governors held a summit in Abuja 
According to the reports, Governors from the South West met on Friday at the Ondo State Government House in Abuja where they were hosted by Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu.
The report made it known that the Governors from the South West met for a summit in order to further promote the development agenda of the region.
Following the Summit, Lagos State Gov., Babajide Sanwo-Olu took to his Twitter handle to declare that the regional cooperation on development and security among Governors in the South West will be benefitted by all.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu wrote, ”Regional cooperation on development and security among Governors in the South-West united by culture and geography will be mutually beneficial for all. Today, I joined some of the Governors in a meeting discussing this and more hosted by H.E @RotimiAkeredolu.”
In a response to Gov. Sanwo-Olu’s tweet, Ondo State Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu stressed that addressing the growing security challenges in the region is the  first of order of the South West Governors.
He went ahead to appreciate Sanwo-Olu for his presence at the summit.
Akeredolu wrote, “seriously and addressing the growing security challenges is our first order of business. Thank you for your presence and looking forward to your continued support @jidesanwoolu.”
A report made it known that all the Governors from the South West were present at the summit on Friday and they are; Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Gboyega Oyetola (Osun), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Seyi Makinde (Oyo) and Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti.)
The report also disclosed that Gov. Akeredolu was elected as the Chairman of the Southwest Governors.
