Remorseful Senator Ishaku Abbo Tenders Apology Over Assault Woman [Video]
- Apologize to Nigeria, women in general for assaulting a woman.
- Assures constituents of good behaviour.
The lawmaker representing Adamawa North senatorial district, Ishaku Abbo has apologised for assaulting a woman at a sex toy shop in Abuja.
This is coming less than 24 hours after a video showing the Senator assaulting the woman.
Abbo, who-who was close to tears made the apology at a press conference at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) headquarters in Abuja.

The Senator at the briefing asked for forgiveness from the victim, as well as Nigerians, saying it is not in his character to assault women
“I am not here to narrate my stories, am here to apologise to Nigerians for insulting their sensibilities.
“It is therefore with a deep sense of remorse and responsibility that I Senator Elisha Abbo profoundly apologise to all Nigerians, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), my family, my friends as well as our mothers, the women I general.
I personally apologize to Beebra and her family for my actions.

“As am an ambassador of Christ, much is expected from me.”
He also assured his constituents that such behaviour won’t repeat itself again.
