Sani to Tourists: ‘Life No Get Double’, Don’t Come to Kaduna for Now

  • Sani urges Tourist, adventurers to stay away from Kaduna due to security challenges. 
  • Condoles with the British Government over the loss of Briton in an attack.

The lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has warned tourists and any adventurer thinking of visiting Kaduna, to stay away, at least for now.

According to Sani, who is a staunch critic of the Governor Nasir El-Rufa’i administration gave the advice based on the observation that gunmen who have laid siege to the state in kidnapping people for ransom.

iDONSABI reported that two people were shot dead by persons suspected to be terrorists on Saturday, while three others were abducted during a social gathering at Kajuru Castle, a popular resort in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna.

One of the persons killed at Kajuru Castle was a British female expatriate, Faye Mooney.

Sani, who took to his Twitter handle to give the advice on Sunday also condemned the attack and offered his condolence to her family.

“All those una wey wan come up here do tourism,escortion or sight seeing, make una chil,this Gunmen no dey joke,life no get double.

“The Killing of Faye Mooney and one other by Kidnappers and the abduction of others from Kajuru castle,Kaduna state stands condemned. My condolences to the families of the victims and the Government of the UK .

Before the tragedy, Kaduna State Government had announced its partnership with the World Bank Group and the Rockefeller Foundation to launch what it called Click On Kaduna — a set of digital programmes designed to train youths aged 18-40 including women and disadvantaged groups with digital skills and digital entrepreneurship skills.
