Sarri Insists He’ll Help Ronaldo Break Records At Juventus

Maurizio Sarri is eager to reacquaint himself with the Serie A,  this time at Juventus after a year long spell in England with Chelsea.

The Italian gaffer is excited to be working with Cristiano Ronaldo and hopes to help him win break more records in Turin.

Sarri helped Chelsea to a top four finish and an Europa league title in only year in charge of the London Blues but has now been lured back to the Serie A by eight time consecutive winners of the Serie A title, Juventus.

Sarri would be taking on the reins in Turin having replaced Massimiliano Allegri who helped the Biaconeris to five of those eight titles.

The Italian gaffer who will be expected to deliver the Champions League title next season is quite aware of the pressure he would be needed to work under but is confident that he can make something out of a star-studded team which boasts of a five time Balon D’Or winner in its ranks.

In his press conference, the former Chelsea manager said:

“At Chelsea I coached some very strong players, but training Cristiano will be yet another step forward. I’d like to help him break some new records.”

Ronaldo who can be said to have a knack for rewriting the record books became the first man to claim title successes in England, Spain and Italy at the close of the 2018/19 campaign.

Though, Ronaldo has been incredibly great for Juventus, Sarri is interested in bringing up three or more players who could stand out for the team

“You have to have clear ideas on two or three players who can make a real difference for the team and then give them an environment to truly express themselves. Then the formation is dictated by that.”

The former Napoli man would now focus on shaping his preseason plans rather than develop an headache over selection plans. He emphasized giving all at Napoli and Chelsea and insists he would give 110 person during his stint in Turin.
