Some part of Balogun Market in Lagos Island is currently on fire.
Due to the close proximity of the buildings to each other, the fire has affected other buildings leading to loss of properties.
It was also gathered that thugs used the opportunity to go on a rampage by stealing some valuables of the victims.
As at the time of filing this report, the rescue team of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) are on ground to quench the fire.
