SERAP Ready to Sue Reps for Preferring to Buy Foreign-made Cars Over Nigerian Made
Human rights and anti-corruption group, The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) is ready to drag the House of Representatives to court over the plan of purchasing 400 foreign-made exotic cars while rejecting Nigerian made cars.
The group made the decision known through a statement on its social media page.

SERAP had already sued Senate over the decision to spend N5.550 billion on new cars for its members.
According to a tweet on its Twitter page, SERAP described the situation as illegal and unconstitutional. It further added that it’s a textbook case of conflict of interests.
