Shehu Sani Speaks on Arrest of Magu
Former lawmaker, Shehu Sanni has alleged that the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) under Ibrahim Magu, who has been arrested over alleged corruption has a squad that has been working personally for him.
This was part of the allegations levelled against the embattled EFCC boss by the Attorney-General of the Federation amongst others.
Sanni, who has been in a legal tussle with the anti-graft agency in his latest tweet, said some personnel of the agency doesn’t understand their mode of operation.

“The EFCC under their embattled Chairman was run by a cartel known as “Magu Boys” or “The Chairman squad” mostly by personnel from a particular section of the country. You only need to ask some other honest and innocent officers from the agency of what they do,” he wrote.

It has also been speculated that Magu has been suspended from his post. But the Presidency is yet to issue a statement concerning the questioning of the anti-graft boss by the Presidential Panel.
