Some Twitter Users Wish Ajimobi Dead…. This Is Why
When the rumored death of former Oyo state governor filtered in, some users on Twitter were excited over the news.
This is coming from the eight-year rule of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain over some controversial issues in his second term; one of them was the LAUTECH school fees that gave him a nickname “Mr constituted authority” and the pension row. The other was the kingship controversy between him and the Alaafin of Oyo then, which is believed to have lead to the party losing the number one seat to the People Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general election.
The news was reported by some media organisations (Not AllNigerianinfo) and it was quickly denied by his aide and family members. Ajimobi is reportedly in a coma, due to coronavirus complication.

“A source who has never failed me in six years of knowing him has just confirmed to me the death, in Lagos today, of Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, due to underlying health conditions worsened by the Coronavirus. May his soul rest in peace.”

The news has been debunked by Ajimobi’s, aide and daughter via Twitter as well. According to a controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo, one of Ajimobi’s daughters also confirmed that their dad is alive.
I will do this just once. The time is 9:27pm and today is 18th June; 2020. Senator Isiaka Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi is alive.
Kindly disregard any rumour to the contrary. Thank you!!

See other tweets on his rumoured death as some were rejoicing over his battle for life on the sickbed.
The rumoured death of Ajimobi is not as painful as seeing some pple rejoicing even when they had no contact directly or indirectly with him. Ajimobi’s main crime is the party he belongs to. We all have dates with death, step back & think how your parent’s deaths will be received.
