Students Allegedly Brutalized In School For Calling Themselves Marlians
A student on Instagram cried out after they were allegedly beaten for calling themselves Marlians.
“Marlian” is the name for a person who is Nigerian singer, Naira Marley’s fan.
The student shared a picture of his scarred body and revealed they were beaten for calling themselves Marlians.
According to him, the school assumes that anyone who is a Marlian is badly behaved and a member of a cult group.
“What we get for calling ourselves marlians…..my school thinks marlian is a cult that do not wear belt and the girls do not wear bra and pants, Monday Wednesday and Friday,” he wrote.
He also called upon Naira Marley to help wipe off the assumptions about what it means to be a Marlian.
He wrote;
“Please tag @nairamarley and @tundeednut so this statement can be debunked. Naira Marley has to make a video to tell the world that he is a disciplined person so all this can be reduced”.
