Suarez Ask Barca Doctors To Help Solve Dembele’s Recurring Injury

Luis Suarez has stressed the need for Ousmane Dembele’s fitness concern to be addressed. Dembele suffered another injury on Wednesday in the Champions League clash against Dortmund.

The Barcelona No.9 told Dembele and the Blaugrana’s doctors to find a solution to the recurring injury problems following another setback.

Dembele suffered a thigh injury in his side’s dominating 3-1 win over Dortmund.

The former Dortmund forward is poised to have tests to determine the extent of his damage and is likely to miss at least the league clash against Atletico Madrid.

The exciting winger has suffered three thigh problems this year as part of a series of injuries that has hampered his career at the Camp Nou since his move from Dortmund in 2017, with an initial cost of £89million.

The 22-year-old has repeatedly had his professionalism questioned during a difficult time in Spain.

Speaking of difficulties suffered in Laliga, the winger has been limited to only five matches across all competitions this term.

Suarez has now asked that Dembele and Barcelona’s doctors do their very best to make sure an end comes to his problematic injuries.

“Dembele and the doctors have to try and find a solution to his injuries,” the Uruguayan striker said after the match, as quoted by Sport.

“[They have to find out] how he keeps getting injured after he has recovered. We hope he’s back with us soon.”

Suarez played fantastically well on Wednesday breaking the deadlock before setting up Barcelona talisman, Lionel Messi for the second goal.

Messi in turn played on Antoine Griezmann – who had come on for Dembele – who beautifully tucked it into the right hand of goal.

Substitute Jadon Sancho pulled one back for Dortmund but that wasn’t enough to unsettle the home side.

While the 32-year-old says his partnership with Messi has been made easy after staying five years at the camp Nou, he admitted that they were eager to get Griezmann on the scoresheet to boost his confidence.

Griezmann has failed to find the net in six appearances across all competitions for the Blaugrana.
