Thailand Threatens Death Sentence for Tourists Taking Selfies Pretending to Touch a Plane

The Aviation authorities of Thailand has threatened death sentence for tourists taking selfies pretending to touch plane.

iDONSABI.com gathered that the Phuket Beach close to the busy Phuket International Airport in the country’s south has become a popular attraction with tourists because of its proximity to the Island’s airport.

Airports of Thailand which is the aviation authorities claim that tourists taking photos may cause crashes. They announced plans to shut off a section of the beach to stop pilots becoming distracted by the activities of the tourists.

The authorities also threatened a death sentence for any tourist taking a selfie pretending to touch a plane.

The Phuket locals however argued with the authorities that the beach’s proximity to the airport is the reason tourist come to the Island.

They said:

If the beach is closed, we will have serious problems because many tourists simply will not come,’ said Winai Sae-io, head of a local entrepreneurial stimulus program. I want (Airports of Thailand, which operates Phuket International Airport) to look at us and support locals in making (a) living here too.
