Timi Dakolo advises on how to respond to “I love you” when you don’t feel the same way
Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo has taken to his Instagra page to advise his followers on the best way to respond to that awkward “I love you” when you don’t feel the same way.
According to the Ghana-born singer, the game is to feign ignorance on the actual intent of the person while probing him or her further in a bid to distract them from their original intent.
In his words:
These days, if a person tells you I love you before you are compelled to echo it back, stop and ask them in a nice way; what do you really mean by “I love you”. Because love means different things to different people.
