Tottenham Vs Arsenal EPL 02 March Preview

Tottenham will lock horns with Arsenal on Hallowed Turf in what is one of the most watched derbies in England, the North London derby. A win for Arsenal means that they would be just within one point reach of the Lilywhites.

Tottenham

Following their most recent loss in the hands of Burnley, Mauricio Pochettino claimed that it could be up to 10 years away from now before his team become main contenders for the Premier League.

Interestingly, they have failed to record a win since the early return of their talisman, Harry Kane.

A win against Burnley would have brought them within just two points of table toppers, Liverpool but they are now nine points adrift of the table’s summit and are realistically speaking out of contention for League’s talks

A loss to their bitter rivals would be a difficult one to stomach and they will be willing to avoid that at all costs.

Arsenal

Unai Emery took up the job at the Emirates with the objective of finishing in the top four and making Champions League football come next season and by the look of things they look very much on course.

The form of Manchester United at the moment has left no margin for error in the race for top-four finish.

Arsenal are quite poor away from home having lost three of their last four outings and their only two away wins since November coming against Blackpool and Premier League basement club, Huddersfield Town.

That said, Arsenal will be having their fate in their own hands when they face Tottenham and Manchester United in their next couple of matches and willing to take those games by the scruff of its neck.
