Toure Shown Red Card Ten Seconds Into Final Game In Chinese League One
Yaya Toure, former Manchester City and Barcelona midfielder received an early bath, 10 seconds into his farewell match in China.
Toure experienced a disappointing ending to his time at Chinese outfit, Qingdao Huanghai after he was sent off just few seconds into his final Chinese League One season.
Following a VAR review, the Ivorian who spent eight years at the Etihad, helping City to eight trophies including three Premier League titles during his spell there, was found culpable for aiming a kick at the opposition player.
Toure’s side unfortunately lost 2-1 to Nantong Zhiyun and it is understood to be the 36-year-old’s final game in China barely four months since he got there.
In spite of the disappointing end to Qingdao Huanghai’s season, they have churned out quite incredible results helping them secure promotion to the Chinese Super League, just over six years after they were founded.

The promotion was helped by taking home 57 points from 37 league games.
During Toure’s time at the club, he bagged two goals and turned provider three times in his 14 appearances for the Chinese outfit.
Toure who notably scored an array of important goals for Manchester City during his time in England has seen only three cards in his career, one of which was the one brandished in his direction in what was to be his final farewell match in China.
Putting things in perspective, it was his first in five years. His last was when he was giving marching orders for the Citizens in a UEFA Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow.
As the Chinese League One comes to a close, Toure is reported not to be interested in renewing his contract Qingdao Huanghai.
Yaya Toure enjoyed bouts of special moments during his Manchester City and will be mostly remembered for his winning goal in the 2011 FA Cup Final against Stoke City, a goal that handed City their first trophy in 35 years and would set the pace for more trophies to come.
