Ozil No Longer Needed At Arsenal

According to a report by Dailymail, Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery is losing patience with Mesut Ozil and wants the player out by the end of January.

It is gathered that the Gunners’ gaffer wants the playmaker out in a ploy to free up transfer resources. The German is the highest paid player at the Emirates.  Nonetheless, he has rarely featured in the premier league since the former PSG boss took charge at the Emirates.

What this deal could mean?

Consequently, Ozil’s sale would give the club more purchasing power to reinforce their back-line. The North London club have suffered defensive problems aplenty and some fresh legs at the club could make the difference.

Given these points, the Spanish gaffer has emphasized that only loan signings will be made this January.

Chelsea to submit bid for Nathan Ake

Chelsea are set to activate a buy-back clause for Nathan Ake. The Bournemouth centre-back has put up inept performances at the heart of defence and going forward for the Cherries this term. The Dutch international is also impressive going forward.

The London Blues are willing to activate the £40m buy-back clause penned down in the centre-back’s contract. Recall, that the Blues sold the player to the Cherries for just half the price.
