Tribunal: Buhari Reveal What Would Have Happened to Him if Judgement Didn’t Go in His Favour

  • Buhari wonders wan would have happened to him.
  • Expresses appreciation to the governors for their congratulatory messages.

President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed what would have happened to him if the outcome of the judgement of the presidential tribunal had not gone in his favour.

Speaking during the visit to the Villa by governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Buhari said if not for the federal executive council (FEC) meeting which was going at the same time the judgement was being read, he would have been traumatised while awaiting.

iDONSABIO reports that the tribunal gave its verdict on the petition of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the election of the president for second term, which was upheld.

The president, who had earlier said he was unperturbed all along because he knew Nigerians freely gave him the mandate. We are now vindicated acknowledged that the cabinet meeting distracted him from activities at the tribunal.

“On this judgement, again it was a fabulous coincidence that it came almost the same time the first Federal Executive Council meeting of this government was taking place.

“It lasted about the same time with the judgement. I thank God for that because I think would have gone into trauma or something. So I was busy trying to concentrate on the memo.

“The first memo was on the budget and it took more than five hours. So, while you were doing your thing for nine hours, we were doing ours for about seven hours here,” he said.

Giving God the glory for his victory, Buhari thanked the governors for sharing the glory with him.

He also urged them to institutionalise the party in order to leave a lasting legacy for others who will come in.

“What I will say to your congratulations, the chairman of the party and the governors is that we must make sure that we really institutionalized the party so that when we leave the stage the party will continue to lead.”

The President should be courageous and fear enough to prosecute those that are involved in killing in other states across the States in the country.
The president should realize that he is not President of Katisina or North alone. Some of us from other part of the country love him even more than his biological children. For his sake I lost my position in my place of work in 2015.
His earlier statement that he is for everybody and he is for nobody would be an abberation if justice is denied is any situation n we found him leaning toward any side. We know how we defended him n his administration in the social media and in other media all through 2015 to 2019. We love him. He should be the father of the nation not a tiny part called Katsina. Thanks.
