Two Suspected Armed Robbers Burnt To Death In Benue State

Two suspected armed robbers in Benue state were burnt to death by an angry mob at Akerior in Ushongo local government area of Benue state on Wednesday, April 3rd.

iDONSABI gathers from various reports that the robbers were apprehended while attempting to rob an Igbo trader popularly known as CK in Benue state.

The robbery suspects who were three in number, rode on a motorcycle while operating their robbery activities.

While two were apprehended and lynched by been burnt to death, one of the robbers managed to escape while running for his life.

Recall that it is no new thing as regards jungle justice in Nigeria as it is been recorded everywhere in Nigeria.

In addition, the inability of the Police and the judicial system to operate very well is the main cause for this issue and it is no new thing as it was recorded in Benue state on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a locally made automatic rifle with rounds of ammunition was recovered from the caught suspected robbers before they were burnt to death and has been handed over to the police and also to track the third suspected armed robber that escaped.
