Vanessa Mdee Opens Up On Why She Dropped Out Of University

Tanzanian singer, Vanessa Mdee arrived at Catholic University of Eastern Africa as a judge for East Africa Got Talent competition and sharing a picture from the event, she revealed why she dropped out from the university.

The singer disclosed that she couldn’t continue her education because she lost her dad and they couldn’t afford the tuition.

“Full circle moment for me; I dropped out of college when Dad died to pursue my career at MTV AFRICA (we couldn’t afford it anymore).

“Today I return to that very same college as a judge on @eastafricagt to see someone else’s dreams become a reality. Bittersweet memories BE GONE, we are making history over the next 3 weeks. WE GO LIVE at 8pm EAT. These are the semi-finals,” she wrote.
