VP Yemi Osinbajo continue with Presidential campaign despite Helicopter crash

– VP Yemi Osinbajo, who crash landed in Kogi state has carried on with the APC 2019 presidential campaign

– The VP was on his way for the campaign before the crash

Vice Pres. Yemi Osinbajo in a statement have appreciated Nigerians for their love after his helicopter crash landed in Kogi state on his way to a presidential campaign.

A report has confirmed that the Vice Pres. and the Helicopter crew members are all safe and sound with no injury

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo in confirmation of his status said, “We are safe and sound. Thank you to everyone who has expressed concern, and thank you to the crew who managed the situation well.”

However, the Vice President disclosed that the All Progressive Congress APC Presidential Campaign which brought him to Kogi state will continue despite the incident.

He said, “We believe that God will continue to keep us and Nigeria safe even as we go higher. We continue Next Level engagements in Kabba, Kogi State.”

According to the reports, the helicopter crash landed in Kabba, which is predominantly Yoruba and one of the biggest places in Kogi state.

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo in his statement also gave thanks to God for sparing his life as he applauded the crew members for their professionalism.

A report made it known that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Atiku Abubakar and Senate President, Bukola Saraki have congratulated the Vice President.

Nigerians as well have taken to various media to thank God for the life of Vice Pres. Yemi Osinbajo as the country averted what would have been a big tragedy and loss.

This is the second time in seven months Vice Pres. Yemi Osinbajo will be involved in a helicopter crash.
