“You Ought To Respect African Spirituality The Way You Respect Other Religion” — Lawyer Lola OJ
Nigerian Lawyer and entrepreneur, Lola OJ on her Instagram story spoke about how African spirituality is termed demonic.
The entrepreneur said this in reaction to some people condemning Beyoncé’s visual album, Black Is King because of the African symbolism.
”You don’t have to believe In Africa spirituality, bit you ought to respect it the way you respect other religions,” she wrote.
She added that colonialism is the cause of the issue as she reminded people that the main religions practiced are “adopted.” Lola OJ also wrote that she feels the religions have done more harm than good as people are intolerant of each other over religion differences.
She ended the post by talking about how she respects her friends and families regardless of their religion as long as they are kind.
