‘A lot of politics playing out over Apapa Gridlock’ – Babajide Sanwo-Olu

– The Lagos State Governor-Elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has made it known that a lot of politics are playing out over Apapa gridlock

– He stressed that he would put an end to it 60 days after he gets to office

Lagos State Governor-elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has opened up on some of his plans once he take full charge of the administration of the state.

Babjide Sanwo-Olu during an interactive session with his ex-classmates at the Executive Master of Business Administration Class, University of Lagos 1998/2000 set was questioned on what he would do to the regular gridlock at Apapa road.

The Lagos state Governor-elect in his response revealed that there is a lot of politics playing over the Apapa Gridlock.

He, however, assured that his administration will proffer solution to the Apapa gridlock 60 days after it come into power.

Babajide Sanwo-Olu disclosed the Apapa trailer issue is part of his campaign issue and he would take it very serious.

He said, “The Apapa trailer issue; it’s a campaign issue; it’s very serious; I’m going to take it very seriously.

“I believe that it is something that we are going to solve in the first 60 days of our government. Whatever is going to be required of us, we will take them out.

“There is a lot of politics being played around there. But no, it cannot be the way we’ll continue to live. We cannot continue to give excuses.”

The Apapa Gridlock is majorly caused by Trailer drivers, who create traffic problem for other motorists and affecting the free flow of transportation, however, the shocking part is that the gridlock always disappears whenever Lagos State is set to host a very important personnel.

In another report, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is set to takeover from Akinwunmi Ambode as Gov. of Lagos State in the next few days.
