EFCC Nabs 10 New Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Ibadan

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibadan zonal office, yesterday, March 8, 2019, nabbed 10 suspected internet fraudsters at Olugun Oluhehu and Elebu areas of Ibadan, Oyo State respectively.

The apprehended suspected internet fraudster, from reports gotten are between the age of 21 and 35 years of age. The major ones caught includes Prince Tayo Rotimi, Omotomo Oluwarotimi, Abdulakeem Oluwatimilehi, and Kodri Yusuf.

While others may include, Oludare Biodun, Lawal Femi, Adeyemi Damilare, Hassan Adewale, Adenuga Olalekan and Oduola Abayomi.

The arrest of the 10 suspected internet fraudsters followed series of intelligence alleging that they engage in fraudulent activities, especially obtaining money by false pretences from unsuspecting victims through online dating and other illegal means around Ibadan, Oyo state.

At the point when the 10 suspected internet fraudsters were arrested, EFCC operatives recovered SIM cards, four exotic cars, laptop computers, telephones, fetish objects (juju) and several documents containing false pretences which were in their possession.

Reports have it that the 10 arrested suspected internet fraudsters will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded and will be sent to jail if they are found guilty.
