Lauretta Onochie slams Walter Onnoghen tells him to take his pill and appear before the CCT

Mrs. Lauretta Onochie, an aide to Pres. Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media has reacted to the absence of suspended Chief Judge of Nigeria CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen before the Code of Conduct Tribunal CCT yesterday.
In a letter submitted by Walter Onnoghen’s counsel, Adegboyega Awolowo, the suspended CJN disclosed he is having health issues which include tooth issues and high blood pressure.
The Code of Conduct Chairman, Mr. Umar Danladi had to adjourn the proceeding to the 18th of March when Walter Onnoghen will be available.

However, Mrs. Lauretta Onochie in a statement slammed the suspended CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen for failure to appear before the tribunal as she told him to take his pill and appear for his trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal CCT.
The Presidential aide in a statement tweeted: “Onnoghen absent from CCT over a toothache, high blood pressure
“Me: Ordinary Nigerians who have more than toothache & blood pressure come to courts to answer for their alleged crimes.
“Just take your pills and stop insulting our legal system. You were fine till now.”
Justice Walter Onnoghen is to face trial before the CCT over failure to make public his asset as stated in the code of conduct act.
He was suspended by the Federal Government in January based on order from the Code of Conduct Tribunal while Justice Mohammed Tanko was appointed as the acting CJN.
