Peruzzi Accused Of Defrauding ABUAD The Sum Of 600k

Nigerian musician and DMW artiste, Peruzzi has been accused by one Hardeytutu of allegedly defrauding her Institution’s Alumni of a huge sum of 600k.

According to Hardeytutu who took to her Twitter handle @herdetutudiva to make the accusation, it was alleged that Peruzzi had been paid 600,000 naira by ABUAD Alumni to perform at an event in the school only for the singer not to show up on the designated day.

University students sometimes pull resources together to invite well-known singers and entertainers to perform at activities and events in a bid to bolster the social life of the students at large.

The lady via a Letter of Demand revealed that Peruzzi was selected to perform at a Reunion party slated for the 5th of January, 2019 and was consequently paid for that cause on the 27th of December, 2018 when the Chairman of the Alumini Reunion Planning Committee made a cash transfer of six hundred naira to which the singer acknowledged receiving.

She accused Peruzzi of unprofessional attitude with emphasis on the fact that he didn’t show up for the event, apologize for missing it or make any attempts to return the collected money even after promising to make a refund on the 12th of January, 2019.

Consequently, the Alumni Association of Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) are according to the contents of the letter asking for a refund of 600,000 naira and damages fee of 400, 000 naira totaling the sum of 1 million naira.

They further threatened to go legal if the singer fails to comply with the contents of the letter within the space of seven days from the issuance date of the letter.

The DMW artiste with real names Tobechukwu Victor Okoh has however made no public statements or refutations to the accusations levelled against him.
