Teenage Girl Saved By Ants During A Potential Rape Incident In Indonesia

A 16-year-old girl escaped being raped after those who wanted to rape her were attacked by a colony of ants.

It was indeed a funny incident which took place as a teenage girl was saved by a colony of ants that bit her attackers.

Toni Irawan who is 29 years of age, approached the 16-year-old girl identified by her initials A.S. and requested her to go for a drive around Sukamaju, South Sulawesi province, in Indonesia.

During the drive, Toni Irawan, the rapist, allegedly requested to sleep with the girl, however, she refused the advances made by Toni Irawan, the alleged rapist.

She made an attempt to escape when he halted the car. Toni Irawan further dragged the teenage girl into some nearby bushes and made an attempt to rape her.

However, a colony of ants attacked the rapist and sent the attacker on a run, thereby saving the girl from a horrific sexual assault and potential rape incident.

The teenage girl, however, managed to get herself up and run to nearby houses to call for assistance.

Sukamaju police chief identified to be Iptu Alimin Pammu informed sources close to the place that the alleged rapist has since been apprehended and is currently on remand as the investigation continues to get to the root of the matter.

After getting a report about this potential rape incident, police authorities have since made their best effort to apprehend the rapist in Pattimang Village, Malanke District (North Luwu) on Sunday, 20th  January at about 4.30am and they have succeeded in their attempt to apprehend the rapist.

Investigations are, however, presently underway in a bid to find out his accomplices and other related people.

This incident is proof that even if the police cannot help you to stop a crime, you might as well be lucky to escape any crime.

If Iraman is found guilty of this crime, he would face a potential three and 15 years in prison.
