Osinbajo Appoints 21 Permanent Secretaries

The Acting President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has approved the appointment of 21 permanent secretaries in the federal civil service. This was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Civil Service of the federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita in Abuja. According to her, the selection process was rigorous.

 

Saraki Confirms Sack of 98 Aides

The Senate President has released a statement to confirm the sacking of aides numbering about 98. You’ll recall that there were reports that the Senate President and former governor of Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki had sacked his aides yesterday, albeit they were not confirmed. The majority of aides affected are staffs of the National Assembly Management who were deployed to the Office of the Senate President.
